A sensible decision has come from KFCC. It is the duty of every Kannadiga to take part in the inaugural match of Celebrity Cricket League on 4th June to support the Sandalwood team. To extend such support firstly from the Kannada cinema industry – holiday has been declared on 4th Saturday – June 2011 so that everyone could come to the KSCA stadium. For the holiday declared the second Sunday – normally holiday is the working day.

The Karnataka Bulldozers is the name of the Sandalwood team that is lead by Kichcha Sudeep. The Bollywood team is lead by Salman Khan.

The CCL is contesting in the T20 cricket tournament with teams from Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam film industry.

Ambarish the Artists association present at the briefing on Tuesday evening at KFCC disclosed that Karnataka Bulldozers team is supported by Ashok Kheney. The funds from this CCL earned will be used for social cause and building of Artists Association.
